AKA launches new app with Vodacom
Rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes has entered into a new business venture in partnership with South African mobile service provider Vodacom.
AKA’s Beam World App launched on Tuesday, 2 October 2018 and is set to document his life, career, family and also give fans a platform to interact with him.
The app available exclusively to Vodacom subscribers and offers content that isn’t available on other social networks.
Instead of using Spotify, iTunes or Google Play, he’s offering streaming of his latest album Touch My Blood on his app.
He announced the app on Twitter on 1 September, saying the Megacy (the nickname he has given his supporters) could come together to see exclusive behind-the-scenes content on his life, family, career and everything in between.
