BIOGRAPHY

Bridget is a TV personality famous for her show America’s Test Kitchen. She was born in 1968 in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Her parents are Jim Lancaster and Linda Sapp Lancaster. She has one sister.  She studied at Nitro High School before proceeding to Ohio State University.
She is married to Stephen Lancaster, a chef. She has two children; Tom  born in 2002 and James Lancaster born in 2008.

CAREER

Bridget started cooking in restaurants in South and Northeast after completing her education. She then moved to Boston as a pastry chef and a kitchen supplies saleswoman. During this time she applied for a magazine contest and later joined Christopher Kimball’s magazine in 1998 as one of the three test cooks.
Bridget is a cast member on America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country from America’s Test Kitchen. She has been part of Home & Family, Ask This Old House and Nova ScienceNow. She has also appeared in TV series Shameless. She is also an author to the book Cooking at Home with Bridget & Julia.
