Danis calls out ‘no heart rat’ RDA over UFC 229 criticism | Trendsmedia.
Former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos had some harsh words for Dillon Danis after UFC 229, and that seems to have Danis ready to throw down.
While Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor were the center of attention for UFC 229 and the brawl that followed, a couple of lesser known fighters have found themselves sharing part of that limelight. On the Khabib side of things, Zubaira Tukhugov took his chance to take a swing at McGregor, over the Irishman’s ‘traitor’ taunts.
Out of the ‘Notorious’ camp, however, Dillon Danis was the one making headlines. The jiu jitsu black belt ended up square in the ‘Eagle’’s flight path following Nurmagomedov’s victory. In a fit of rage, the Dagestani climbed the Octagon and leapt across a barrier to deliver a flying kick at Danis, who had reportedly been taunting the champion from his seat cage-side.
For all that, Danis found himself on the receiving end of some unexpected criticism, from former UFC lightweight champion - and current top-ranked welterweight - Rafael dos Anjos. RDA took to Twitter after UFC 229 with harsh words for the Bellator fighter.
This guy Dillan Dennis he is nobody, he just suck Conor’s balls and hide behind him, that’s his job. He never going to make it, be on Conor’s corner is his career highlight.

That seems to have gotten right under Danis’ skin. And, since they’re both under contract to rival organizations, the McGregor training partner decided to issue a call-out for RDA to “meet up and fight.”
let’s fight then fuck commissions let’s meet up and fight you pussy little bitch you give every fight you no heart rat https://t.co/77CnDtvODq

Danis made his MMA debut earlier this year, at Bellator 198, submitting Kyle Walker via toe hold in the first round. He has yet to return to the cage since. Rafael dos Anjos is currently scheduled to fight Kamaru Usman as the main event of the TUF 28 Finale in November. He last took on Colby Covington, losing by unanimous decision at UFC 225. Maybe he’ll carve out a little extra time in his schedule to meet Danis in Temecula.
