Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 8: Three in, three out | Trendsmedia.

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 8 kicks off on Friday the 5th of  October at 8:00 pm UK time as Brighton host West Ham.

So, all of your transfers for GW8 need to be made by 7:00 pm UK time on the 5th.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

3 in including Chelsea defender

Joe Hart (4.6)

Before joining Burnley, Joe Hart had two very poor seasons with Torino and West Ham United.

However, so far this season, Hart has been one of Burnley’s top players.

Hart has helped Burnley keep two clean sheets in the league and has made countless quality saves.

This has given Hart a total of 36 FPL points making him the second best keeper on FPL.

Burnley also face bottom of the league Huddersfield this game week, meaning another clean sheet is likely.

Marcos Alonso (6.9)

While Marcos Alonso is on the pricey side for a defender, he is 100% worth it.

In seven league games this season, Alonso has scored one, assisted five and helped Chelsea keep three clean sheets.

This gives Alonso 54 FPL points and makes him the top defender by some distance.

Chelsea also face a low scoring Southampton side this week, so it is likely Alonso will keep a clean sheet and perhaps even get an assist or two.

Kieran Trippier (6.2)

Tottenham are at home to newly-promoted Cardiff City this week.

Cardiff have managed to score just four goals in the league this season, the second lowest out of all 20 sides.

Spurs, on the other hand, have a solid defensive record.

So, it would be wise to sign a Tottenham defender this week.

Your best choice is likely to be Kieran Trippier.

As well as helping Spurs out at the back, Trippier has also scored one and assisted three in the league this season.

3 out including Manchester City defender

Benjamin Mendy (6.3)

Benjamin Mendy had an excellent start to the 2018/19 season.

In his first five league games of the season, Mendy earned five assists, a superb record for a full-back.

As a result, many people drafted him into their side.

However, Mendy is still out injured and his return date is unknown.

Therefore, it would be wise to transfer Mendy out for someone like Trippier.

Naby Keita (7.3)

When Naby Keita eventually joined Liverpool over the summer, many people expected him to be a key member of Liverpool’s midfield three.

While Keita has been to an extent, he is simply not playing enough to warrant a place in your FPL side.

Keita has also failed to register a goal or assist for Liverpool in the league.

The midfielder also has a back injury and is a doubt for Saturday’s game vs Man City.

Petr Cech (5.1)

Arsenal’s defence did not get off to the best start this season.

The Gunners failed to keep a clean sheet in their opening five league games this season.

But against Everton, Petr Cech put in a brilliant shift that saw his side clinch their first clean sheet of the season.

Arsenal also went on to keep a clean sheet in their next game vs Watford.

Unfortunately, Cech was subbed off at half-time vs Watford and is not expected to return until October 28th.
