Realme 5 Pro update brings Nightscape Mode to front camera, November security patch and more | Trendsmedia.

Realme 5 Pro is receiving a new software update in India. It brings Nightscape support for the front camera, optimisations for the phone's gaming performance and camera output, and the November security patch. The software update is now available to download via the stable OTA channel for Realme 5 Pro users in India. It carries the build number RMX1971EX_11_A.13. It is 2.81GB in size. The OTA update is based on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 skin on top. 

As for the changelog, the RMX1971EX_11_A.13 update for Realme 5 Pro adds support for Nightscape for the front camera to enable users to capture brighter selfies in low-light scenarios. For reference, Nightscape is Realme’s dedicated camera mode in the phone’s default camera APK. The changelog also mentions noise optimisation for the camera in dark environments and resolution of a reddish tinge issue in the images. It also optimises the overall camera clarity. 

The update for Realme 5 Pro also brings improvements in gaming performance. The changelog mentions that a frame drop issue in the Arena of Valor game has been solved. It has also improved power consumption for partial video scenes. Other fixed issues include network connectivity problem in partial areas. The update also addresses the information error prompt issue that appeared in the notch region.

Aside from the improvements and optimisations, the new update also brings the November security patch to the smartphone.
