Reggae band member of Black Roots Unlimited, Tshaka Mayanja is set to celebrate 30 years in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
Mayanja is widely recognized for his contribution to the growth and appreciation of jazz and soul music within Uganda’s audience on a massive scale. He has journeyed through 30 years of organizing and promoting quality music concerts, earning respect and value for his work in the industry.
“It is important to celebrate when you achieve a great milestone. It is by the grace of the most high and my ancestors through whom I’m spiritually guided that we are here, and we are doing this work as their vessels that is worth celebrating,” said Tshaka Mayanja.
The reggae maestro, songwriter, producer and promoter will be celebrating this milestone at the Johnnie Walker All Music Safari concert slated to take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on November 30.
Having founded and promoted the Jazz and Soul Music Safaris for over 11 years, he has prepared an action-packed live concert to mark the groundbreaking moment by literally taking his guests on an enticing music safari with RnB star Mya as the headlining act of the All Music Safari.
