Check out which fighters won performance bonuses from UFC 246: McGregor vs. Cerrone

The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada was home to a solid night of fights. The card saw two (T)KOs, three submissions and six decisions, including one split-decision.

The first PPV card of 2020 ended up being just 11 fights after Alexa Grasso’s weight cutting snafu forced her fight with Claudia Gadelha off the card, and earlier in the week, Grant Dawson and Chas Skelly’s fight was scrapped, as well. The $70 price tag encased in a double pay wall was an acute paper cut that flared up occasionally during the event (I’m looking at you Justin Ledet and Aleksa Camur).

In a feel good moment that any true MMA fan can appreciate, Roxanne Modafferi, the biggest underdog on the card, beat Maycee Barber all over the octagon, dropping her with a jab and owning her on the ground. It was a very fun fight, with an outstanding result. Well done, Roxy, well done!

The main event saw a short destruction of Cerrone. Conor immediately launched an assault that saw him miss with a huge left but get dividends off multiple hard shoulder bumbs to Cowboy’s nose and eye. A massive head kick, knee and a big left put Cerrone down and McGregor swarmed to get the TKO finish. Exactly 40 seconds had gone by. Hopefully, Cowboy got something on the back end because that $200K guaranteed purse is looking a little light.

Fight of the Night: None. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
