Donald Cerrone says he suffered no fractures or broken bones in his headlining bout against Conor McGregor at UFC 246.

Following Donald Cerrone’s 40-second TKO loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 246, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) announced that ‘Cowboy’ had sustained two fractures in his nasal and orbital bones and could be medically suspended for up to six months.

In a recent Instagram post, however, Cerrone denied that report and said he came out of the McGregor fight scot-free.

“Surgery?? I didn’t have anything broken,” he posted on Instagram before following up with, “that’s because they didn’t break. Not sure why the ufc always says that.”

Cerrone is one of the most active fighters on the UFC roster and will be looking to get back in the Octagon as soon as possible. The 36-year-old MMA veteran and fan favorite is on a three-fight losing streak but is still widely considered one of the most entertaining fighters in the sport. Cerrone is currently #5 in the UFC lightweight rankings.
