Google Pixel 5 pricing details and specifications have leaked ahead of its official launch alongside the Pixel 4a (5G) on September 30. The Pixel 5 has been leaked previously with most of the key specifications already out in the open. However, this new leak brings to light the pricing of the Pixel 5 and other features such as the dual cameras on the back and support for 90Hz refresh rate.
The Pixel 5 and 4a (5G) won’t be launched in India and the company has already announced the Pixel 4a for India that is slated to go on sale sometime in October. According to a report by WinFuture, the Pixel 5 could be priced starting at Euro 629 for the European countries and as per the latest rumours, it could be priced around $599 for the US. Google Pixel 5 leaked specificationsGoogle Pixel 5 features a 6-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution display that uses an OLED panel supporting 90Hz refresh rate with HDR10 certification. The screen is topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 6 for added protection against regular wear and tear. The chassis is made out of aluminium and measures 8 millimetres in thickness and weighs 151 grams. The phone is also IP68 certified making it resistant to dust and water.
The Pixel 5 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
It has dual cameras on the back that consists of a primary 12.2MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 107-degree field-of-view. The rear camera supports OIS and EIS and can record in 4K at 60FPS. There’s an 8MP selfie camera on the front, housed within the punch-hole cutout.
The Pixel 5 has stereo speakers and the fingerprint sensor is situated on the back. It is equipped with a 4,080mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging out-of-the-box.
