PUBG Corp announces new version of PUBG Mobile specially made for India | Trendsmedia.

PUBG Mobile India is a new game that is being prepared specifically for launch in the Indian market by PUBG Corporation. The company has finally revealed its plans for the Indian market that includes establishing an Indian subsidiary and specific customisations for the Indian players of the popular battle royale title. PUBG Mobile was banned in India on September 2 along with 118 other apps by the Indian government citing privacy and security reasons.

PUBG Corporation has issued a press release that details its plans of reviving PUBG Mobile in India by launching a special version of the game that caters to the Indian players. The game will be re-launched as PUBG Mobile India at a later date and is set to feature customized content including virtual simulation training ground, clothed characters, green hit effects and more. 

The game will release with custom in-game content specific to the Indian market in order to build a healthy gameplay environment in the country. The upcoming game will also include restriction settings on game time in order to instil healthy gameplay habits for young PUBG Mobile players in India.

PUBG Corp announces PUBG Mobile India

PUBG Corp. has also announced that it is creating an Indian subsidiary and plans to hire over 100 employees that will boost the business, esports and game development in India. The company has also revealed that it will be engaging with Indian PUBG Mobile players and esports organisations for collaboration and enhancing their presence.

“PUBG Corporation plans to make investments worth $100 million USD in India to cultivate the local video game, esports, entertainment, and IT industries,” the company said.

Furthermore, PUBG Corp. is also preparing to host India-exclusive esports events and tournaments with prize pools once the game launches in India. There’s currently no word on the exact launch details of PUBG Mobile India in the country.

PUBG Corporation's parent company Krafton Inc. recently announced its partnership with Microsoft Azure platform where it aims to leverage Microsoft’s cloud platform to store user data of its biggest titles including PUBG, PUBG Mobile and more. Another report by TechCrunch hinted at the game’s possible return before the end of the year, however, PUBG Corp. has stated that it will reveal more information in the launch of PUBG Mobile India “at a later date”.
