Logos Olori Enlists Davido for Self-titled Extended Play | Trendsmedia.
Logos Olori, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, has put out his highly anticipated eponymous extended play (EP).
The singer announced the release of the eight-track project on Friday via his social media pages.
The tracks on the body of the work include: ‘Olori’, ‘Easy On Me’, ‘Push’, ‘My Darling’, ‘Apapa’, ‘Hmm Hmm’, and ‘Murder’.
Artistes enlisted on the EP are Davido and Musa Keys.
Born Olamilekan Emeka Taiwo, Logos Olori was shot into the spotlight after he was featured on ‘Picasso’, a track of Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album.
In March 2023, Davido announced the signing of Olori alongside Morravey to DMW, His record label.
Olori was however in the news for controversial reasons in July over a music video.
He released His debut single ‘Jaye Lo’, accompanying it with a music video.
Shortly after the video release, Davido took to social media to promote the project.
The video featured Muslims observing Salah — their sacred prayer — while Olori is seen sitting on the roof of a mosque.
The footage however sparked a wave of negative reactions on social media, especially on X (Twitter).
Some conservatives condemned Davido for allowing the video to be released.
Others registered their concern about the idea of associating Islam with secular music.
