UFC 229 video: Brawl erupts between fans after Khabib-McGregor melee
More violent behaviour erupted after UFC 229, this time between fans in attendance.
The blockbuster card that was UFC 229 ended on a sour note. What could have been a celebration for Khabib Nurmagomedov after successfully defending the UFC lightweight title was marred by a brawl that was sparked by his attack on Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis, who was situated cage side.
Neither man was interviewed after the fight, and UFC president Dana White refused to put the belt around Khabib’s waist, fearing the backlash from the Irish fans in attendance. The unnecessary violence, however, did not end inside the arena.
As seen in these clips below, a number of fans also went at it in what looks to be the lobby area of the T-Mobile Arena. It is unclear if the parties involved were opposing fans of Khabib and McGregor, but some of them were also apprehended by the officers on the scene.

According to Dana White, three members of Team Khabib had already been taken into police custody. McGregor opted not to press charges, so all men arrested have since been released.
