UFC 246 Embedded, part 3 - ‘I actually love that t-shirt’ | Trendsmedia.
Check out the third episode of Embedded for UFC 246.
UFC 246 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start things off at Raquel Pennington’s house in Colorado. Tecia Torres does the cooking. Pennington points out that Torres is grumpy when she cuts weight, but she isn’t. Pennington wants to have a big 2020 and get back to a title shot.
Donald Cerrone is playing with his son, putting him on a motorcycle. They take him to the Reef aquarium at Mandalay. Cerrone says instead of bungee jumping or all the other crazy stuff he did before fights, now he takes his kid to see fish. He thinks it’s funny that the public tells him to train more, because training is over. He then goes to the Neon Museum, which he’s never seen before. It’s basically a graveyard of Vegas hotel signs.
Over at UFC Apex, Diego Ferreira does a photo shoot and talks about Anthony Pettis. Cerrone greets Pettis as he arrives. Cerrone says he only has to cut four pounds. Pettis thinks Ferreira will try to take him down, but he’ll pick him apart.
Claudia Gadelha talks about opponent Alexa Grasso. Grasso arrives in Vegas. Fighting in Vegas is a dream come true. She’s going to try to stick to her striking game. She’s repping Mexico.
Conor McGregor arrives at UFC Apex. He looks at the TUF wall mural and all the coach uniforms. He poses next to his own. Holly Holm makes a cameo. They discuss their weight cuts. Conor says he’s under, Holly says it’s a struggle but she’ll make it. They sign with some posters.
McGregor clowns around with Holly’s BJJ coach. He seems perfectly at ease, laughing and cracking jokes. He likes the fight poster. He said everyone crapped all over his Reebok shirt at first, but now that they’ve seen the ad, they like it. He’s always liked it. He’s never collected posters, but his team has. He signs a poster twice accidentally, and says “that’s a good one.”
And that’s it! UFC 246 goes down this Saturday night in Vegas.
